“Essential” Whole House Filter
 
The WaterGenie “Essential” filter utilizes a perfect blending of NSF certified media and components to create healthy, great tasting water 
 
Essential Filtration:
Stage 1: 5 micron pre-filtration to remove Cysts, copepods, sediment, dirt and rust.
 
Stage 2: Sentinel Media-Shield can remove up to 99% of water-soluble lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals. The Media-Shield is also an effective control for preventing the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, algae, fungi.
 
Stage 3: Is an engineered blend of Granular Activated Coconut Shell Carbon (GACCS) and Catalytic Activated Coconut Shell Carbon (CACCS). Highly effective at removing many volatile organic chemicals (VOC), Chlorine, Chloramines’, pesticides and herbicides, benzene, Trihalomethane (THM) compounds, trichloroethylene (TCE), radon, solvents and hundreds of other chemical contaminants commonly found in tap water.
Finished water offers dramatically improved taste, odor and clarity, while retaining needed nutrients such as trace minerals.
